UCL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

The University Consortium for Liberia is delighted to announce the winners of the  2017 UCL Higher Education Scholarships chosen by the UCL Scholarship Committee.

 The winners are as follows:

Sedia Beysolow– accepted to University of Georgia (Bachelors, Biology)
Randolph Glee– accepted to Clark Atlanta University (PhD, Social Work)
Dickson Goffa– accepted to Savannah State University (MBA)
Joshua Kulah– completing law degree at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (Juris Doctor)
Varbah Sorsor – completing chemistry degree at Clark Atlanta University (PhD, Chemistry)

UCL and Institutional Partners Host Student Leaders from University of Liberia

UCL and our institutional partners hosted 7 student leaders from the University of Liberia. The two week-long program took place from October 28th to November 11th at the request of  University of Liberia President Dr. Emmet Dennis. During the trip, Liberian students were able to visit several local campuses to network with other student governments and engage in special lectures. The students even got the chance to tour Atlanta and some of the city’s main attractions.
