Last month, The UCL brought the University of Liberia(UL) and the University of Georgia (UGA) together to further partnership discussions. During the August meeting, UL President Ophelia Weeks and UGA Assistant Dean and Director of the Global Programs in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Dr. Amrit Bart each represented their institution. The two discussed partnership with a specific focus on Agribusiness.

ATLANTA (Sept. 8, 2017) – Award winning reporter Aungelique Proctor from FOX 5 News will host this year’s United for Liberia Global Health Fundraising Gala on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017.
The event begins at 6:00 p.m. at Morehouse School of Medicine.
“I look forward to serving as Mistress of Ceremonies for this year’s United for Liberia Gala as we continue to address the needs of this West African country which has a wealth of potential,” Proctor said.

Joshua Kulah– completing law degree at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (Juris Doctor)
Varbah Sorsor – completing chemistry degree at Clark Atlanta University (PhD, Chemistry)
