The University Consortium for Liberia (UCL) in collaboration with CAU celebrated the graduation of two (2) Liberian students who received PhDs in Chemistry from CAU in May 2020, Dr. Saki Golafale and Dr. Varbah Sorsor. Also, working with the Dean of the College of Business to launch a Young African Leaders Mandela Fellows (YALI) curriculum at UL where I hosted the CAU Dean and YALI Director in Liberia in 2018. Meetings were held with President Weeks, the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia including Ambassador Christine Elder and USAID staff, and others.
